Bryan L. Bailey
President, Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS)
Bryan is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where he earned his B.A. in Earth Sciences. Bryan started his career in 1971, in Derry, NH, where he was born and raised and has been an NH Licensed Land Surveyor since 1978. Bryan moved the family north to the Lakes Region in 1979, where the office has stayed and primarily served the Lakes Region. Since starting his career in 1971, Bryan has established a reputation of being a firm and trustworthy source and a true leader in the industry. Bryan was the 2011 President of the NH Land Surveyors Association. Father of 2 grandfather of 4.
Resides in Gilford NH.

Craig T. Bailey
Vice President PE, LLS, PSM
Craig earned his undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering from UNH, and a Professional Science Masters degree in Surveying Engineering Technology from the University of Maine. Craig is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Craig is also a Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS,) and certified NH Septic Designer. Craig has been working professionally in the land development industry since 1999, not including many preceding summers working on the field crew! Craig has certainly carved himself as a leader in the industry. Craig was awarded the NH 2012 Young Engineer of the Year, by the NH Society of Professional Engineers.
Other background items of note include; Craig consulted with Autodesk as an SQA Engineer and subject matter expert for Autodesk Civil 3D, providing service and assistance in the development of Civil 3D 2010-2016. Craig is a technologist at heart, and being an early adopter of technology has allowed the firm to compete with much larger firms.
Craig has served on the Faculty of NHTI, Concords' Community College since 2014, where he has taught many CAD courses and fundamental engineering courses such as Statics & Strength of Materials, Reinforced Concrete design, Structural Steel design, Soil Mechanics, and Construction Surveying. Craig currently serves as the "AET Club" faculty advisor.
Craig was elected to serve the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association in 2023 for a 4-year journey on the Executive Committee, finishing as a Past President.
Craig and his wife (Marcie) live in Hudson, NH, with their two daughters, Olivia and Elizabeth.

Jessica J. Bailey
Environmental Scientist CWS, CSS
Jessica is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Durham, and holds a B.S. in Forestry with a concentration in Forestry & Forest Management. Jessica is a Certified Wetland Scientist and a Certified Soil Scientist.
Jessica started her professional career as a Soil Conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Conservation Service. Jessica brings over 25 years of experience as a natural resource professional and provides a multi-disciplinary approach involving land use and land planning. Jessica applies a breadth and depth of experience while solving complex environmental permitting and land use planning challenges.
Jessica is responsible for jurisdictional wetland evaluations & delineations, wetland function-value assessments, vernal pool determinations & assessments, resource assessments, resource restoration, wetland mitigation, as well as oversees construction & restoration monitoring projects. Compliance inspections for NHDES Wetlands permits are a specialty. Jessica is responsible for all state, local, and federal permits required for the project along with compliance inspections.
As a certified soil scientist, Jessica is responsible for field work, which often involves coordination with equipment to conduct site evaluations to prepare a Site-Specific Soil Map or a High Intensity Soil Map depending on your town’s requirements, as well as preparing the accompanying technical soil reports. Most recently Jessica has been providing soil inspections and infiltration testing using a Compact Constant Head Permeameter (Amoozameter) for several engineering projects involving NHDES Alteration of Terrain Permitting.
Jessica has always been active throughout her community and has been serving the Belknap County Conservation District as a volunteer board member since 2018. Jess is currently providing service to the Executive Board of the NH Association of Natural Resource Scientists (NHANRS.)

Austin R. Hall
Crew Chief, SIT

Austin joined Bailey Associates 2022. His interest in land surveying started during his service United States Army Reserves 12T Technical Engineer, where he served as a Corporal and worked as a land surveyor. He is responsible for lead and supervise the field crew in various surveys, ensuring accuracy and coordination with engineering and natural resources. Austin is highly skilled in the areas of boundary line survey, topographic survey, GPS location, GPS static network control, construction staking. Completing field surveys by collecting data using GPS equipment, Robotic Total Station or other conventional surveying equipment, as well as performing data reduction using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Having passed the FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) exam in 2026, and earning registration as a NH LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) Austin is well on his way to licensure.

Nathan O. Hobby
Survey Technician
Nathan has been working as part of the survey crew as a summer intern and is looking forward to returning to the crew with his first year at the University of Maine for Land Surveying under his belt.
As a Survey Technician, Nathan is gaining experience in boundary and topographic surveys, and utilization of GPS technology.
Nathan was awarded the E.N. Roberts Scholarship from the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association.
Nathan is an active member of the UMaine Student chapter of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and has recently provided service to the chapter at the National Survey competition, held annually in Washington D.C.
